Terms

Published 2026-07-13 · Updated 2026-07-13

Sending the application form means you've read the points below and you're fine with them. Chat-G brings people on board directly for chat-based conversation work and translation, done wherever you happen to live — this isn't a trading platform, and it isn't any kind of investment offer.

Minimum age and accuracy

You need to be at least eighteen to send in a form. Your name, your contact, and the English level you claim all have to be genuine — if something in there turns out to be invented, whatever offer followed can be withdrawn later, however far things had already gone.

Reading the figures we publish

Grade ranges and the average-income figure shown around this site are pulled from what our current group of 90+ operators actually earned — real history, not a promise aimed at you. What any one person takes home still depends on their grade, the hours logged, and how steady their chats are, so treat none of these numbers as a guarantee tied to your own results.

What happens during review

Roughly 1 in 12 submissions goes further than the rest, and the majority stop there — that's just what a selective filter looks like, not a personal verdict. What tips the scale is how naturally you carry a short practice conversation, not how polished a résumé looks. We can turn a submission down, halt training partway through, or shut a slot at any point without owing anyone an explanation.

Contractor status, zero fees

Everyone working with us signs on as a self-employed contractor rather than payroll staff — no salary line, no benefits package, and whatever tax obligation your earnings create is something you settle under your home country's code. Not one part of applying, training, or reaching a paid shift will ever cost you money; if someone asks you for a payment while claiming to speak for Chat-G, that person isn't us.

What the rest of the site means

Job listings, the pay breakdown, and the FAQ exist to explain how things work, not as a binding contract or financial guidance. The real terms attached to any specific role are set exactly once, in writing, at the moment an offer goes out.
